We are currently looking for both those who want to join our team as a complete career change, as well as those who would like to deliver on an as-needed basis.

We think of our drivers as route representatives because they do so much more than drive. When out on deliveries, our drivers are the face of our company and the provider of care for living animals; both of these are important tasks that require a "blue collar" work ethic along with some "white collar" time management and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clean driving record
• Traveling Experience 
• Ability to perform all duties necessary to properly care for animals, including walking and sometimes assisted loading for large dogs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally by phone and text.
• Ability to read spreadsheets (some coaching is available in this area)
• Willingness to take correction as a positive part of the growth process
• Must own and use smart phone
• Ability to follow GPS
• Pass background check
• Must be able to be on the road for a minimum of 4 days (intermittent driver) or 1 1/2 weeks (full-time driver). Full-time drivers are generally on the road 2-3 weeks at a time.

We do have a small fleet of vehicles that can be used as available. If you are interested in driving intermittently, you will need a van or SUV of your own, or be willing/able to rent one.

Drivers usually make $1,000-$3,500, depending on deliveries performed.

We currently pay a percentage of the overall route revenue. The percentage is greater for owner/operators, of course, with all expenses up to the driver. We cover fuel costs for our vehicles, and the driver percentage is lower to reflect that. 

You will find driving for Bailey's Best Care is a rewarding, challenging opportunity at adventure, growth, and very competitive earnings potential. You will travel all 48 continental states, delivering various types of pets, 85% of which are dogs, 10% cats, with the remainder ranging from Sugar Gliders to turtles, and everything between. Generally, you will have 3-10 pets on board at a time.

You will meet dozens to hundreds of new people, and develop friendships across our country.

The average day will consist of the following:

• Begin a day on the road with animal care, including feeding, watering, and walking pets.
• Send customer communications, including an update of your travel and a pic of their pet.
• Hit the road!
• Animal Care stops every four hours, during which time you will take pics of pets and update customers.
• End the day with animal care and customer updates.
• Sleep in the vehicle with your furry passengers unless you choose to stay in a pet friendly hotel, in which case all pets must be kept (crated separately) in your room.
